Experiment 4: 'Twas the Month After Christmas

'Twas the month after Christmas

And all through the apartment

Away went boxes and wrapping

Out came cards to be sent

Gifts and memories recounted

and turned into art

Cards made to reflect

gratitude of the heart

The paper was cut

The glue dots were bought

The stamp pads were found

In an old dusty box

And much to my wondering eyes

did appear

the stamp pads still worked

After many of years

Envelopes were all sealed

Addresses written down

The last sign of Christmas

now ready to send out

{Maybe one of my favorite uses of analog every year is creating Christmas thank-you cards for family and friends. I can't think of a better way to begin the year than to spend time intentionally expressing gratitude to the people the mean the most in my life. So many times I feel gratitude, but don't always take the time to make that gratitude known and tangible. Christmas thank-yous seemed like a good place to start. Here's to making 2017 my most grateful year yet.}
